The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal and charitable society founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney. Built on charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, the Knights support the Church, local communities, and families through insurance programs and extensive works of mercy, remaining one of the best-known lay organizations in the English-speaking Catholic world.
