Erected on 9 December 2019 by Pope Francis, it was formed from territory previously belonging to the Diocese of Boa Vista. Establishment
The Diocese of Roraima was established on 9 December 2019 by Pope Francis to serve the Catholic population in the state of Roraima, separating territory from the Diocese of Boa Vista.
