St. Ann Church is a territorial parish in the Diocese of Paterson, located in Paterson, New Jersey. Dedicated to Saint Ann, mother of the Virgin Mary and patroness of mothers, the parish serves a diverse community in Passaic County.
Established in 1850 by the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth, the parish was initially staffed by these sisters who also managed the adjacent orphanage and school. The current church building dates back to 1865, when it replaced an earlier structure that had been destroyed by fire.[1]
