Saint Zacchaeus of Jerusalem
Saint Zacchaeus of Jerusalem (died c. 116 AD in Jerusalem, Roman Palestine) was the eighth Bishop of Jerusalem, succeeding Saint Tobias and preceding Saint Benjamin. He is listed in the succession of early Jerusalem bishops compiled by Eusebius of Caesarea in his Ecclesiastical History (c. 313 AD). He is not to be confused with Zacchaeus the tax collector mentioned in the Gospel of Luke (19:1–10). His feast day is August 23.

Biography
Zacchaeus of Jerusalem was the eighth Bishop of Jerusalem, listed in the early episcopal succession documented by Eusebius of Caesarea. He is placed c. 116 AD, during the reign of Emperor Trajan or the early reign of Hadrian.
He was part of the first fifteen bishops of Jerusalem — all Jewish Christians — who led the Jerusalem community in the decades following the destruction of the Second Temple (70 AD). His episcopate fell between those of Saint Tobias and Saint Benjamin.
No independent hagiographic tradition exists for him beyond his position in the episcopal succession list. He is not the Zacchaeus of Luke 19 (the tax collector in Jericho). He died peacefully c. 116 AD. His feast is August 23.
