Saint Paula Frasinetti
Saint Paula Frasinetti (born March 3, 1809 AD in Genoa, Liguria, Italy; died June 11, 1882 AD in Rome, Italy) was an Italian foundress who established the Sisters of Saint Dorothy — a congregation dedicated to the Christian education of poor girls and young women. She was the sister of Blessed Joseph Frasinetti, a well-known Genoese spiritual director. She was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1984. Her feast day is June 11.

Biography
Paula Frasinetti was born on March 3, 1809, in Genoa, the youngest daughter of a Genoese family. She went to Quinto al Mare near Genoa to care for her brother Joseph, the parish priest there, who was ill. While there she began gathering poor girls for catechesis.
A small community of women formed around her who wished to pursue Christian education as a religious vocation. This community became the Sisters of Saint Dorothy, formally founded c. 1834. She spent the following decades governing the congregation, overseeing its expansion, and seeking pontifical approval, which came in 1863 under Pope Pius IX.
The congregation expanded to Brazil during her lifetime. She died on June 11, 1882, in Rome.
Pope Pius XI beatified her in 1930. Pope John Paul II canonized her on October 11, 1984.
