Saint Edith of Polesworth
Saint Edith of Polesworth (died c. 925 AD in Polesworth, Warwickshire, England) was an Anglo-Saxon princess, sister of King Æthelstan of England, who founded and became abbess of the Convent of Polesworth in Warwickshire. She is patron of Polesworth. Her feast day is July 15.

Biography
Edith of Polesworth was an Anglo-Saxon princess, traditionally identified as a sister (or half-sister) of King Æthelstan. Some accounts conflate her with Saint Edith of Wilton; the two are distinct figures. She founded the Convent of Polesworth in Warwickshire and served as its abbess, living a life of prayer and community. She died around 925 AD and was buried at Polesworth. The medieval abbey built over her foundation still stands as an Anglican Benedictine community. She is venerated on July 15.
