Saint Darius
Saint Darius (died c. 284 AD in Nicaea, Bithynia, Turkey) was an early Christian martyr executed at Nicaea during the reign of Emperor Numerian. He is commemorated in the Roman Martyrology with several companions on December 19.

Saint Darius was martyred at Nicaea in Bithynia (modern İznik, Turkey) around 284 AD. He is commemorated in the Roman Martyrology on December 19 with several companions — Zoichus, Ilus, Argas, and others — all martyred in the pre-Constantinian persecutions. Few historical details survive.
