Saint Bean
Saint Bean (also known as Beanus or Beyn; died c. 1012 AD) is venerated as the first Bishop of Mortlach (later Aberdeen) in Scotland and as one of the early missionary bishops who helped establish Christianity in northeastern Scotland. He is associated with the area of Banffshire and Aberdeenshire and is regarded as the predecessor of the later bishops of Aberdeen. His feast day is October 26.
