Saint Agrippina of Mineo
Saint Agrippina of Mineo (born c. 257 AD in Rome, Roman Empire; died c. 262 AD in Mineo, Sicily) was an early Roman Christian martyr whose relics were translated to Mineo, Sicily, where she became the patron of the city and the center of a miraculously founded cult. She is venerated as a virgin martyr and her feast day is June 23.

Biography
Agrippina was born c. 257 AD in Rome to a noble family. She consecrated her virginity to God and was a devout Christian. During the persecutions she was arrested, tortured, and martyred, dying c. 262 AD.
Three women — Bassa, Paula, and Agatonike — carried her body from Rome to Sicily. Her relics were eventually translated to Mineo, where miracles began to occur at her tomb. The Christian community of Mineo adopted her as their patron.
She has been venerated at Mineo since at least the early medieval period. The Cathedral of Mineo is dedicated to her, and the annual festa on June 23 is the town's greatest celebration.
