Mundelein Seminary (University of Saint Mary of the Lake) is the major seminary of the Archdiocese of Chicago, with roots going back to 1844. Located in Mundelein, Illinois, it forms priests for Chicago and many partner dioceses, combining theological study with pastoral and spiritual formation on a large lakeside campus. It remains one of the best-known diocesan seminaries in the United States.
