The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is the mother church of the Diocese of Albany in Albany, New York. Established in 1848, the present building was completed in 1852 and combines Gothic Revival and Romanesque elements, including a striking twin-spired façade. For generations it has anchored Catholic life in New York’s Capital District under the patronage of the Immaculate Conception.
