Special:Nearby can surface Parishes, Footprints life-stops, and Shrines—so a phone (or laptop with location) becomes a quick map into Saintapedia’s geography.

Saintapedia’s structured place data is most useful when it meets where you are.

What Nearby can show

Special:Nearby uses our NearMe configuration to look for Cargo rows near a GPS position (or an example city). Configured sources include:

  • Parishes — churches near you
  • Footprints — tour-depth saint life-stops
  • Shrines — shrine records with coordinates

Open a result to jump into the full parish page or a subject’s /Footprints tour list.

How to try it

  1. Open Special:Nearby on a phone (location on) or a laptop
  2. Allow location, or pick an example place if offered
  3. Browse parishes and Footprints pins, then open a page for detail

Honest limits

Nearby only shows what is already in Cargo with usable coordinates. Coverage is growing, not complete. Footprints still use honest VisitAccess on tour pages—Nearby is discovery, not a promise that every pin is open to tourists.
