Kenrick–Glennon Seminary is the Catholic seminary of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, located in Saint Louis, Missouri, preparing men for the ministerial priesthood of the Catholic Church through an integrated program of Human, Spiritual, Intellectual, and Pastoral Formation.
Campus and Formation
The seminary describes its mission as forming seminarians toward configuration to the Heart of Jesus Christ, High Priest and Shepherd, through a program of formation grounded in four theological foundations: a Trinitarian foundation centered on the Heart of Jesus, a Christological foundation focused on configuration in persona Christi, a Pneumatological foundation emphasizing the Holy Spirit as primary Formator, and formation of the identities of Beloved Son, Chaste Spouse, Spiritual Father, Spiritual Physician, and Good Shepherd. Campus resources include the Souvay Memorial Library and a Nature Trail.
Academics
Kenrick–Glennon Seminary comprises Cardinal Glennon College, an undergraduate program, and the Kenrick School of Theology, which includes a Pre-Theology Program and a Theologate Program. The Theologate curriculum includes M.Div. comprehensive exam requirements and coursework toward the S.T.B.
