Holy Apostles College and Seminary is a Catholic college and seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut, offering undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and seminary formation programs both on campus and online. It serves seminarians, permanent diaconate candidates, religious sisters, and lay students pursuing degrees in theology, philosophy, and pastoral studies.

Campus and Formation

Holy Apostles' seminary programs include a House of Discernment, a Propaedeutic Year (available on campus and online), a Discipleship Program, the Master of Divinity for Seminarians, the Master of Divinity for Non-Seminarians, and a Permanent Diaconate Program. On-campus seminary offerings also include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Certificate in Philosophical Studies. The seminary has sections dedicated to international seminarians and to religious sisters. The campus includes a chapel.

Academics

Holy Apostles offers undergraduate degrees (Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Arts), graduate degrees (MA in Theology, MA in Philosophy, and MA in Pastoral Studies, each with multiple concentrations), a Master of Sacred Scripture, a Master of Divinity in the New Evangelization, graduate and post-master's certificates, and a PhD in Theology set to launch in Fall 2026, described as the first fully online Catholic PhD in Theology program. The college is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education, the Connecticut Office of Higher Education, and the Association of Theological Schools, and is recommended by the Cardinal Newman Guide.

Current Status

Holy Apostles maintains rolling admissions and offers both on-campus and 100% online study. For the 2026–2027 academic year, the college held undergraduate tuition unchanged for the fourth consecutive year. Its PhD in Theology program is scheduled to launch in Fall 2026.
