The Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology (DSPT) is a Catholic graduate school of philosophy and theology in Berkeley, California, operated by the Order of Preachers as a Center of Studies of the Western Dominican Province. It provides intellectual and priestly formation for Dominican student brothers while preparing religious, clerics, and lay students for academic and apostolic vocations, and is a member school of the Graduate Theological Union.

Campus and Formation

DSPT is situated in the hills of Berkeley, California, where lay and religious students study together and have access to the San Francisco Bay Area's cultural resources. Student life is structured around four pillars reflecting Dominican life: study, prayer, community life, and ministry.

Academics
