Establishment
The Diocese of Rubiataba-Mozarlândia was erected on 6 March 2019 by Pope Francis through the apostolic constitution *Cum in Brasilia*, carving territory from the Archdiocese of Goiânia and the Diocese of Uruaçu to better serve the Catholic communities in northern Goiás.
