Blessed Vivian of Rome
Blessed Vivian of Rome (also known as Saint Bibianus or Vivianus; died c. 380 AD, Rome, Italy) was an early Christian martyr and Roman saint who is venerated for his steadfast faith during Christian persecutions. According to tradition, he was executed for refusing to renounce his Christian faith and participate in pagan worship. He is recorded in the Roman Martyrology and his feast day is celebrated on 28 November.

Biography
Blessed Vivian was a Christian living in Rome during a period of persecution. According to tradition, he steadfastly refused to renounce his faith or participate in pagan worship, despite pressure from civil authorities and threats to his life. His refusal to abandon Christianity resulted in his arrest and execution.
Vivian was subjected to various forms of torture in an effort to force him to renounce his faith. According to tradition, he endured his sufferings with courage and faithfulness, maintaining his Christian conviction until his death. He was ultimately executed by martyrdom and his remains were buried with honour by early Christians.
Though the specific details of his life and martyrdom have become obscured by time, his reputation as a faithful martyr who died for his Christian faith led to his veneration by the early Church. His shrine at the Church of San Bibiana in Rome became a place of pilgrimage and prayer for the faithful.
