Blessed Khodianin Oghlou Kadir
Blessed Khodianin Oghlou Kadir (died November 19, 1895 AD in Mujuk-Deresi, near Marash, Ottoman Empire (present-day Turkey)) was an Armenian Catholic layman who was martyred during the Hamidian massacres of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire. He is honored as one of the seven lay companions of the Franciscan Blessed Salvatore Lilli, the Martyrs of Mujuk-Deresi. His feast day is November 19.
A member of the Armenian Catholic community of Mujuk-Deresi, Khodianin Oghlou Kadir was seized with his parish priest, the Italian Franciscan Salvatore Lilli, and his fellow villagers. Ordered to renounce Christ and embrace Islam to save their lives, he and his companions refused and were put to death. They were beatified in 1982.

Biography
Khodianin Oghlou Kadir was an Armenian Catholic layman of the village of Mujuk-Deresi, near Marash in the region of Cilicia in the Ottoman Empire (in present-day Turkey). The Armenian Catholics of the area were served by the Franciscan mission, and their parish priest was the Italian Friar Minor Blessed Salvatore Lilli.
In 1895, during the wave of massacres of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire under Sultan Abdul Hamid II, the Christians of the region came under deadly attack. In November of that year the village of Mujuk-Deresi was assaulted. Father Salvatore Lilli refused to abandon his people, and he and a number of the men of the village were seized together.
The captors offered them their lives if they would renounce the Christian faith and embrace Islam. Khodianin Oghlou Kadir, together with his priest and his fellow villagers, refused to apostatize and confessed his faith in Christ. For this they were put to death on November 19, 1895.
Khodianin Oghlou Kadir was beatified on October 3, 1982, by Pope John Paul II, as one of the seven Armenian lay companions of Blessed Salvatore Lilli, the Martyrs of Mujuk-Deresi. Their feast is kept on November 19.
