Blessed John Eustace
Blessed John Eustace (born c. 1150 AD in Thérouanne, Artois, France; died September 30, 1211 AD in Floreffe, Namur, Belgium) was a French Catholic Premonstratensian (Norbertine) abbot who served as the first Abbot of Floreffe Abbey in the County of Namur and was known for his holiness, asceticism, and pastoral care. He was beatified by confirmed local cult. His feast day is September 30.

Biography
John Eustace was born c. 1150 in Thérouanne, Artois, France. He entered the Premonstratensian (Norbertine) Order and served as the founding or early abbot of Floreffe Abbey, a Premonstratensian house established in 1121 by Saint Norbert of Xanten on a height above the Sambre River in the County of Namur.
He governed Floreffe with holiness and austerity. He died September 30, 1211, at Floreffe. His feast day is September 30.
