Blessed James of Certaldo (born c. 1240 AD in Certaldo, Tuscany, Italy; died April 14, 1292 AD in Volterra, Tuscany, Italy) was an Italian Catholic Augustinian Hermit friar and mystic. Known for his austere life of prayer and penance, he served in the Augustinian community in Volterra and was venerated for his holiness after his death. He was beatified by confirmed local cult. His feast day is April 14.
