Blessed James Fenn
Blessed James Fenn (born c. 1540 AD in Montacute, Somerset, England; died February 12, 1584 AD in Tyburn, London, England) was an English Catholic secular priest martyred during the Elizabethan persecution. A former Protestant who converted, was ordained abroad, and returned to minister covertly in England, he was executed at Tyburn. He was beatified by Pope Leo XIII on May 13, 1895, among the 54 Martyrs of England and Wales. His feast day is February 12.

Biography
James Fenn was born c. 1540 in Montacute, Somerset. He was raised Protestant and later converted to Catholicism. He trained for the priesthood abroad (probably at the English College at Douai) and returned to England as a missionary priest.
He was captured, tried for exercising priestly functions in England, and executed at Tyburn, London, on February 12, 1584.
He was beatified by Pope Leo XIII on May 13, 1895, among the 54 Martyrs of England and Wales. His feast day is February 12.
