Blessed Ida of Toggenburg
Blessed Ida of Toggenburg (born c. 1135 AD in Toggenburg, Switzerland; died November 3, 1226 AD in Fischingen, Thurgau, Switzerland) was a German-Swiss Catholic noblewoman from the County of Toggenburg who, after a false accusation by her husband that led to her near-death, became a Benedictine recluse at the Monastery of Fischingen in Thurgau. She was beatified by confirmed local cult. Her feast day is November 3.

Biography
Ida of Toggenburg was born c. 1135 in Toggenburg, Switzerland, and married Count Henry II of Toggenburg. According to hagiographic tradition, her husband falsely accused her of infidelity and subjected her to severe mistreatment; she survived through divine intervention.
After the injustice was revealed, she separated from her husband and became a recluse at the Benedictine Monastery of Fischingen in Thurgau, where she lived a life of prayer and penance.
She died November 3, 1226, at Fischingen. The Monastery of Fischingen remains a pilgrimage site for her veneration. Her feast day is November 3.
