Blessed Ida of Louvain
Blessed Ida of Louvain (born c. 1211 AD in Louvain, Brabant, Belgium; died c. 1290 AD in Roosendael, Brabant, Belgium) was a Belgian Catholic Cistercian nun at the Abbey of Roosendael near Louvain who experienced extraordinary mystical gifts including visions, ecstasies, and a special devotion to the Eucharist. She was beatified by confirmed local cult. Her feast day is April 13.

Biography
Ida of Louvain was born c. 1211 in Louvain (Leuven) in Brabant. She entered the Cistercian Abbey of Roosendael near Louvain and lived a contemplative life characterized by intense Eucharistic devotion, mystical visions, and ecstasies.
She is one of three Cistercian "Ida" mystics of Brabant from the 13th century — alongside Blessed Ida of Nivelles (died 1231) and Blessed Ida of Léau (died 1260) — who exemplify the extraordinary Eucharistic mysticism of the Brabantine female Cistercian tradition.
She died c. April 13, 1290, at the Abbey of Roosendael. Her feast day is April 13.
