Blessed Henryk Kaczorowski (born June 25, 1888 AD in Włocławek, Congress Poland, Russian Empire; died March 9, 1942 AD in Dachau, Bavaria, Germany) was a Polish Catholic priest and seminary rector martyred at the Dachau concentration camp during World War II. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on June 13, 1999, among the 108 Martyrs of World War II. His feast day is June 12.

Biography

Henryk Kaczorowski was born June 25, 1888, in Włocławek, Congress Poland (Russian Empire). He was ordained a priest and became rector of the Diocesan Seminary of Włocławek.

After the German invasion of Poland in 1939, he was arrested by the Gestapo. He was sent to the Dachau concentration camp in Bavaria, where he died on March 9, 1942.

He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on June 13, 1999, in Warsaw, among the 108 Martyrs of World War II. His feast day is June 12.
