Blessed Francoise Bellanger
Blessed Françoise Bellanger (died 1794 AD; Anjou, France) was a French Catholic laywoman martyred for her faith during the Reign of Terror of the French Revolution in the Anjou region of France. She is venerated among the Martyrs of Avrillé, a group of French Catholics killed in the anti-religious persecutions of 1794 and beatified by Pope John Paul II on February 19, 1984. Her feast day is February 19.

Biography
Françoise Bellanger was a French Catholic laywoman from the Anjou region of France. She was killed for her Catholic faith during the Reign of Terror of the French Revolution, in the context of the violent repression of the Catholic and royalist uprising known as the Vendée War.
She was executed — by guillotine or shooting — at Avrillé, near Angers, in 1794, because she refused to apostatize from the Catholic faith or take oaths contrary to the Church.
She is venerated among the Martyrs of Avrillé (Martyrs of Angers), a group of 99 French Catholics beatified by Pope John Paul II on February 19, 1984. Her feast day is February 19.
