Blessed Francesca of Gubbio was a Franciscan tertiary from the medieval hill town of Gubbio in Umbria, Italy. She lived in the late 14th and early 15th century, in the great tradition of Umbrian female tertiary holiness that included Blessed Angela of Foligno and others.
As a Franciscan tertiary, she lived in the world rather than in a formal convent, devoting herself to prayer, penance, and mystical contemplation alongside charitable service to the poor and sick of Gubbio.
She died January 11, 1416, in Gubbio.
She is venerated in local Catholic tradition in Gubbio and Umbria. Her feast day is January 11.
