Blessed Felipe Ripoll Morata
Blessed Felipe Ripoll Morata (born 1878 AD in Teruel, Aragon, Spain; died September 8, 1936 AD in Segorbe, Valencia, Spain) was a Spanish Catholic bishop of Segorbe who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He was arrested by Republican militia forces at the outbreak of the war and executed. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on March 11, 2001. His feast day is September 8.

Biography
Felipe Ripoll Morata was born around 1878 in Teruel, Aragon, Spain. He was ordained a priest, and eventually became Bishop of Segorbe, a diocese in the Province of Castellón in the Valencia region of Spain.
When the Spanish Civil War broke out in July 1936, the Republican zone (which included the Segorbe area) was marked by intense anti-clerical violence. Militia forces arrested Bishop Ripoll. He was executed on September 8, 1936 — the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on March 11, 2001. His feast day is September 8.
