Blessed Domingo Iturrate Zubero of the Most Blessed Sacrament (born May 11, 1901 AD in Dima, Basque Country, Spain; died April 7, 1927 AD in Belmonte, Cuenca, Spain) was a Spanish Trinitarian friar from the Basque Country who was known for his extraordinary devotion to the Eucharist and his mystical gifts, particularly a permanent state of prayer and union with God that his superiors and companions found remarkable. He died of tuberculosis at only 25 years of age. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on November 30, 1983. His feast day is April 7.

Biography
Domingo Iturrate Zubero was born May 11, 1901, in Dima in the Basque Country, into a devout Catholic family. He entered the Order of the Most Holy Trinity (Trinitarians) and pursued theological studies.
He was known from his novitiate for an extraordinary quality of prayer — a seemingly continuous orientation of his interior life toward God — and for his deep devotion to the Eucharist, which was expressed in long hours of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.
He contracted tuberculosis and was sent to the Trinitarian friary of Belmonte in Castile-La Mancha. He died there on April 7, 1927, at only 25 years of age, with great peace and union with God.
He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on November 30, 1983. His feast day is April 7.
