Blessed Constabilis of Cava
Blessed Constabilis of Cava (born c. 1060 AD in Cava de' Tirreni, Campania, Italy; died February 17, 1124 AD at the Abbey of the Most Holy Trinity at Cava, Campania, Italy) was an Italian Benedictine abbot of the Abbey of the Most Holy Trinity at Cava de' Tirreni (the "Badia di Cava") in Campania, south of Salerno, who guided the monastery through a period of great growth and was renowned for his justice, charity, and administrative wisdom. He was beatified by Pope Clement XI in 1727 and later declared a saint by Pope Leo XIII in 1893, though the CSV lists him as "Blessed Constabilis of Cava." His feast day is February 17.

Biography
Constabilis of Cava was born around 1060, most likely in the Cava area of Campania. He entered the Benedictine community at the Abbey of the Most Holy Trinity at Cava de' Tirreni — one of the great Benedictine monasteries of Norman southern Italy — and eventually became its abbot in 1122.
He guided the abbey with wisdom, justice, and charity for two years before dying on February 17, 1124. He was beatified by Pope Clement XI in 1727 and canonized by Pope Leo XIII in 1893. His feast day is February 17.
