Blessed Clemente Marchisio
Blessed Clemente Marchisio (born March 1, 1833 AD in Racconigi, Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy; died December 16, 1903 AD in Rivalta di Torino, Turin, Piedmont, Italy) was an Italian Catholic priest who founded the Congregation of the Daughters of Saint Joseph (Figlie di San Giuseppe) in 1878, a congregation of women religious dedicated to the education of youth, the care of the sick, and service to the poor in the tradition of the Holy Family of Nazareth. A deeply Eucharistic priest known for his long hours before the Blessed Sacrament and his pastoral zeal, he was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 30, 1984. His feast day is December 16.

Biography
Clemente Marchisio was born March 1, 1833, in Racconigi, Cuneo, Piedmont, into a devout Italian family. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Turin and appointed parish priest of Rivalta di Torino, a small community southwest of Turin.
He was known throughout his ministry for his extraordinary Eucharistic devotion — spending long hours in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament — and his pastoral zeal for his parishioners.
In 1878 he founded the Congregation of the Daughters of Saint Joseph (Figlie di San Giuseppe), women religious dedicated to the education of youth, the care of the sick, and service to the poor, modeled on the spirit of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
He guided the congregation and continued his parish ministry until his death on December 16, 1903, in Rivalta di Torino, at age 70.
He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 30, 1984. His feast day is December 16.
