Blessed Bernard of Toulouse (died c. 1320 AD in Toulouse, Languedoc, France) was a French Dominican friar of the Province of Toulouse who is venerated as a blessed for his holiness of life and apostolic service in the Dominican Order. He lived and ministered in Toulouse — the great city of Languedoc in southern France and the birthplace of the Dominican Order (Saint Dominic founded the Order of Preachers at Toulouse in 1215 to combat the Cathar heresy) — and was renowned for his prayer, his preaching, and his care for the poor. He is venerated in the Dominican tradition and in the local Catholic tradition of Toulouse. His feast is observed locally.

Biography
Bernard of Toulouse was a Dominican friar of the Province of Toulouse in the late 13th and early 14th century. He lived and ministered in Toulouse — the city where Saint Dominic had founded the Order of Preachers in 1215 to combat the Cathar heresy, and home to the Convent of the Jacobins, the mother house of the French Dominicans.
He served in the Dominican apostolate of preaching, prayer, and care for the poor within the rich tradition of the Toulouse Dominican Province — one of the most important provinces of the medieval Dominican Order, formed in the aftermath of the Albigensian Crusade and Counter-Crusade in the Languedoc.
He died around 1320 in Toulouse. He is venerated as a blessed in the Dominican Order and in the local Catholic tradition of Toulouse.
