Blessed Arnold of Gemblours
Blessed Arnold of Gembloux (died c. 1127 AD in Gembloux, Namur, Belgium) was a Benedictine monk at the Abbey of Gembloux (Gembloers/Gembloux-sur-Orneau) in what is now the Province of Namur in Belgium. He is venerated as a blessed in the local Benedictine and Belgian Catholic tradition. The Abbey of Gembloux was one of the important centers of Benedictine life in the Low Countries, and Arnold represents the tradition of holy monks who lived and died there in service and prayer. His feast day is June 14.

Biography
Arnold of Gembloux was a Benedictine monk at the Abbey of Gembloux (Abbaye de Gembloux) in the Namur region of the southern Low Countries (now Belgium). He lived there in the 11th-12th century during the period of Benedictine reform and scholarly activity associated with Sigebert of Gembloux and other eminent monks of the abbey.
He is venerated as a blessed in the local Benedictine tradition and in the Belgian Catholic Church, his memory preserved in the abbey's necrologies and local devotional tradition.
