Blessed Antoni Beszta-Borowski
Blessed Antoni Beszta-Borowski (born January 11, 1880 AD in Poland; died July 15, 1943 AD near Bielsk Podlaski, Poland) was a Polish Catholic diocesan priest and dean of Bielsk Podlaski who was shot by German occupation forces during the Second World War. He is honored among the 108 Blessed Polish Martyrs of World War II. His feast day is June 12.
A parish priest and dean who had served the Church in the Podlasie region for decades, Antoni Beszta-Borowski was arrested by the Nazi authorities and executed with other hostages in the forest near Bielsk Podlaski. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1999.

Biography
Antoni Beszta-Borowski was born on January 11, 1880, in Poland, and was ordained a priest for the service of the Church in the Podlasie region of eastern Poland. Over a long ministry he became the parish priest and dean of Bielsk Podlaski, a leading figure among the local clergy.
During the German occupation of Poland in the Second World War, the Nazi authorities carried out systematic reprisals and executions against Polish clergy and civilians. In 1943 Beszta-Borowski, by then an elderly priest, was arrested along with other hostages.
On July 15, 1943, he was shot in the forest near Bielsk Podlaski. He died as a witness to Christ in the midst of the wartime persecution of the Polish Church.
He was beatified on June 13, 1999, by Pope John Paul II in Warsaw as one of the 108 Blessed Polish Martyrs of the Second World War, a group of bishops, priests, religious, and laypeople who gave their lives during the Nazi occupation.
