Blessed Antoine Fournier
Blessed Antoine Fournier (died 1794 AD in France) was a French Catholic priest martyred during the Reign of Terror of the French Revolution. He was among the large number of French clergy who were killed between 1792 and 1795 for their refusal to take the oath against the Catholic Church required by the Revolutionary government, or for continuing to exercise their priestly ministry after that ministry was banned. He is venerated in the French Catholic tradition of the French Revolution martyrs.

Biography
Antoine Fournier was a French Catholic priest who was martyred during the French Revolution. He was part of the large number of French clergy who refused the Revolutionary government's demand that priests take an oath transferring ecclesiastical allegiance from the Pope to the French state (the Civil Constitution of the Clergy, 1790).
As a prêtre réfractaire (refractory priest) he faced persecution under the Revolutionary government and was eventually killed for his faith and his priestly ministry.
He is venerated in the French Catholic tradition as a martyr of the Revolution.
