Anthony of Tuy was a Dominican friar of the ancient city of Tuy (modern Tui) in Galicia, Spain — a city on the Miño river at the Spanish-Portuguese border, facing the Portuguese city of Valença. He lived the Dominican life of prayer, preaching, and contemplation in this Galician border city.
