Blessed Anna Maria Janer Anglarill
Blessed Anna Maria Janer Anglarill (born December 18, 1800 AD in Cervera, Catalonia, Spain; died December 14, 1885 AD in Seville, Spain) was a Spanish Capuchin tertiary and the foundress of the Sisters of the Holy Family (Congregación de Hermanas de la Sagrada Familia), a religious congregation dedicated to the education and catechesis of poor children and the care of prisoners and the marginalized. She founded the congregation in Spain in 1864, drawing inspiration from the Holy Family of Nazareth as a model of charitable service. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 8, 1994. Her feast day is December 14.

Biography
Anna Maria Janer Anglarill was born December 18, 1800, in Cervera, Catalonia, Spain, into a Catholic family. She became a Capuchin tertiary and was drawn especially to the service of the poor — particularly poor children without education and prisoners without spiritual care.
In 1864, she founded the Congregation of Sisters of the Holy Family (Hermanas de la Sagrada Familia) in Spain, dedicated to educating poor children, caring for prisoners, and serving the marginalized poor. The congregation took the Holy Family of Nazareth — Jesus, Mary, and Joseph — as its model of simple, loving service.
She established communities in both Catalonia and Andalusia, traveling across Spain to found houses and govern the growing congregation. She died December 14, 1885, in Seville, Andalusia, at 84 years of age.
She was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 8, 1994.
