Blessed Anicet Hryciuk
Blessed Anicet Hryciuk (born September 10, 1891 AD in Pawłów, Poland; died October 14, 1943 AD in Auschwitz, Poland) was a Polish Capuchin Franciscan priest martyred at the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during the Nazi occupation of Poland. He was among the 108 Polish Martyrs of World War II beatified by Pope John Paul II in Warsaw on June 13, 1999. His feast day is June 12.

Biography
Anicet Hryciuk was born September 10, 1891, in Pawłów in the Lublin region of Poland. He entered the Capuchin Franciscan Order and was ordained a priest. He served in Poland as a Capuchin priest during the interwar period and into the Nazi occupation.
He was arrested by the German occupying forces (Gestapo) during the Nazi occupation of Poland and imprisoned at the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. He died there on October 14, 1943, at age 52.
He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in Warsaw on June 13, 1999, as one of the 108 Polish Martyrs of World War II.
