Blessed Andres Sola Molist
Blessed Andrés Solá Molist (born March 25, 1884 AD in Cardona, Catalonia, Spain; died August 14, 1936 AD in Barbastro, Aragon, Spain) was a Spanish Claretian priest who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War as part of the Martyrs of Barbastro — a group of Claretian seminarians and priests killed by Republican anticlericalists in August 1936. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 25, 1992. His feast day is August 2 (group feast of the Martyrs of Barbastro).

Biography
Andrés Solá Molist was born March 25, 1884, in Cardona, Catalonia, Spain. He entered the Claretian Missionaries and was ordained a priest. He was assigned to the major Claretian formation house at Barbastro in Aragon.
When the Spanish Civil War began in July 1936 and Republican militias took control of Barbastro, the entire Claretian community — approximately 50 priests and seminarians — was arrested. Over the following weeks they were executed in groups.
Andrés Solá Molist was shot on August 14, 1936, at age 52.
He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 25, 1992, as one of the Martyrs of Barbastro.
