Blessed Aloysius Tezza
Blessed Aloysius Tezza (born November 1, 1841 AD in Conegliano, Veneto, Italy; died September 26, 1923 AD in Lima, Peru) was an Italian Camillian priest who spent most of his priestly life as a missionary in Peru, and who co-founded the Daughters of Saint Camillus (Figlie di San Camillo) to serve the sick. He was beatified by Pope Francis on November 7, 2021. His feast day is September 26.

Biography
Aloysius Tezza was born November 1, 1841, in Conegliano, Veneto, Italy. He entered the Order of the Ministers of the Sick (Camillians) and was ordained a priest. He was sent as a missionary to South America and spent most of his priestly life in Lima, Peru.
In Lima he organized the nursing of the sick in hospitals and poor neighborhoods. Together with Blessed Giuseppina Vannini (1859–1911), he co-founded the Daughters of Saint Camillus (Figlie di San Camillo), a religious congregation of women dedicated to nursing the sick.
He died September 26, 1923, in Lima at age 81.
He was beatified by Pope Francis on November 7, 2021.
