Blessed Aloysius Bellesini
Blessed Aloysius Bellesini (born November 12, 1774 AD in Trento, Trentino, Italy; died February 3, 1820 AD in Rome, Italy) was an Italian Augustinian Recollect friar and parish priest in Rome who was known for his tireless charity toward the poor, the sick, and children. He died of typhus contracted while nursing victims of a typhus epidemic. He was beatified by Pope Pius X on June 27, 1904. His feast day is February 3.

Biography
Aloysius Bellesini was born November 12, 1774, in Trento (then part of the Habsburg Empire). He entered the Augustinian Recollects and worked as a teacher before being assigned to Rome as a parish priest.
In Rome he devoted himself entirely to the poor: catechizing children in his parish, nursing the sick, and distributing alms. He worked through the turbulent Napoleonic period when Rome was incorporated into the French Empire (1809–1814) and into the early Restoration era.
When a typhus epidemic broke out among the Roman poor, he nursed the victims without protection. He contracted typhus and died of it on February 3, 1820, at age 45.
He was beatified by Pope Pius X on June 27, 1904.
