Archeparchy of Philadelphia
The Archeparchy of Philadelphia, an archeparchy of the Byzantine Rite, is an active metropolitan archeparchy serving Ukrainian Greek Catholics in the United States. Erected on 22 February 1958 by Pope Pius XII, it is led by Metropolitan Archbishop Bohdan Danylo since 2020. As the metropolitan see of the Philadelphia Ukrainian Catholic Metropolitan Province, the archeparchy encompasses Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, preserving ancient Eastern Christian liturgical traditions amid a vibrant immigrant heritage.
