Saint Leocadia of Toledo, virgin and martyr, is a revered early 4th-century Spanish saint who suffered during the Diocletian persecution. According to ancient tradition, she was a young Christian woman of noble birth in Toledo who courageously confessed her faith before the Roman governor Dacian. Refusing to offer sacrifice to pagan gods, she endured imprisonment, torture, and harsh treatment, ultimately dying in prison around 303–304. Her steadfast witness strengthened the local Church amid widespread persecution.
